NFTE CL, the trade union for the welfare and upliftment of casual/contract workers
(of BSNL) is organisationally kept in tact and has not merged with any other trade union or organisation. NFTE CL is an all India based trade union and has statewise (circlewise)
setups in many telecom circles including Tamilnadu, Chennai,............................................ etc.
We have come across an information that the Tamilnadu circle unit of NFTE CL
has allegedly merged with ...................................................... which is untrue.We, the Tamilnadu
unit of NFTE CL do hereby categorically deny this and we wish to reiterate that
no such merger has taken place.
There is a set of rules for the merger of any two or more organisations, especially
trade unions. Besides there are regulations and procedures to effect any merger.
In NFTE CL Tamilnadu circle unit there was not even a contemplation of any merger
with any organisation. There was no objective necessity which warrants a merger.
A merger, in order to get effected must pass through certain stages which are mandatory.
Of all these the first and foremost is the decision to the effect of a merger which
should be taken by way of passing a resolution at the properly convened meeting
of the Circle executive committee concerned or the Central Working committee.
(as the case may be).
Neither the Central Working Committee nor the Circle Executive Committee of
Tamilnadu circleof NFTE CL,has taken such a decision to merge with ........................

No such resolution was passed; no such resolution was drafted even.
No meeting of the Circle Executive Committee, Tamilnadu, NFTE CL was convened
to discuss and decide about the said alleged merger since nothing was contemplated
about a merger.
(The Circle Eecutive Committee meeting of
NFTE CL was held last during ............2018/2019 and therafter no meeting
was due and so no meeting was held).
Therefore the statement made by some vested interests (or disruptive elements)
that NFTE CL Tamilnadu Circle has merged with ........................ is purely imaginary
and absolutely false.
We wish to assert that in NFTE CL Tamilnadu Circle there is no proposal of a
merger with any other organisation and there is no idea even.

brush aside such baseless statements about a merger.
